PVGA Regular Membership ($50) is open to all owner, operators, and employees of vegetable, potato, and berry farm operations, processing firms and industry supplier companies or any one interested in the industry. Associate Regular Membership ($30) is open ONLY to retired growers, students, university faculty and staff, and extension educators. Keystone Membership ($75 to $375) is an optional membership category open to vegetable, potato and berry farm operations, processing firms, and industry supplier companies. Suggested dues rates are based on the operations gross sales volume in the vegetable, potato or berry industries. The amount of Keystone dues above the regular dues is deposited in the Association’s Keystone Fund – an endowment-type fund where the interest is used to fund two annual $1,000 scholarships plus research and promotion activities. Associate Keystone Membership ($30) is open ONLY to family members or employees of Keystone Members. All PVGA Members receive a monthly subscription to the Association’s newsletter, the Pennsylvania Vegetable Growers News, the American Vegetable Grower magazine, and the Vegetable Growers News tabloid.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR EACH PERSON attending the Mid-Atlantic Fruit and Vegetable Convention, including spouses. Registration fees allow one to attend both fruit and vegetable sessions as well as enter the exhibit area. Each registrant also receives a copy of the Proceedings. Students and children 16 and under receive FREE registration. No refunds of pre-registration fees will be made unless canceled by January 26 in writing, by phone (717-694-3596) or by email (pvga@pvga.org). You will receive an email confirmation. PVGA members are eligible for a discount on registration. The first person from the farm or family of a PVGA member can pre-register by January 22 for $75 for all three days of the Convention and additional persons from the farm or family of members can register for $60. (After January 22, members can register for $90 per person for all three-days.) If you choose to register as a non-member, it is $125 for one day or $165 for two or three days per person. Registration for the Workshops and Tour is separate from and in addition to the Convention registration. Fees for the workshops and tour are same for members and non-members. You must pre-register for the workshops and tour – there is no walk-in registrations for these pre-convention events. You MAY, however, register at the door for the main Convention.
