PVGA is the organized and common voice of the Pennsylvania vegetable, potato and berry industries that seeks to represent the interests of growers to government officials, Penn State University administrators and general public.
Each year the Board of Directors, with input from membership surveys, identifies the Association’s Legislative Priorities.

The Association’s Policy Resolutions set forth the Association’s official position on current issues that affect growers and the vegetable, potato and berry industries. They are reviewed each fall by the Government Affairs Committee and the Board of Directors, which then proposes changes or additions to the General Membership. The Members then vote whether to adopt these proposed Policy Resolutions at their Annual Meeting. The Resolutions adopted each year are added to previous year’s Policy Resolutions to create a comprehensive document outlining the Association’s position on issues. Members are encouraged to submit any comments on the existing Resolutions or suggested additions to the Directors for consideration at any time
